Surau An-Nur was built simultaneously with Suluh Budiman Building in August 1919 and completely built-up in June 1922. The building designed by a famous architect from the Federated Malay States named Kestevan. This surau is also known as Surau Pak Aris, because a photographer named Pak Aris worked at MPSI in 1980 was managing this mosque. At present, this mosque is completely refurbished, newly painted and equipped with a modern speaker system and placed under the management of Islamic Centre of UPSI
