Former Japanese Armed Forces Punishment Site

During the occupation of Japanese in Tanjong Malim, the SITC area became the headquarters of Japanese military operations. This area is said to have been the site for the execution of Japanese penalties. Japanese had been SITC from February 1942 until August 1945. During the occupation of Japanese, SITC students transferred to Istana Hilir and Upper Istana in Kuala Kangsar, while the goods were transported by train loaded in 70 wagons. The study was resumed on 1st April 1946, the area had to be cleared as many skulls and human bones buried in holes and abandoned fortifications and filled with bushes.
